The historical building "Haus Nuernberg" which was once was home of a famous Jazz-club was remodelled into a modern Hotel in 2006.
The former Ballroom was changed into a modern multi-purpose-event venue.
was assigned by Ellington Hotel to design and install a sound system which would meet the needs of different kinds of events at high quality in a difficult room-acoustic environment.

The most suitable system was found to be an array consisting of  L-Acoustics KIVA/KILO elements which allowed very uniform SPL distribution throughout the hall and high intelligibility at the same time.

The system was installed and tuned in August 2007 and is used almost daily for various kinds events. The system not only fulfills the client's quality criteria but also allows to the hotel to offer a high quality system for external events for competitive prices.

The system consists of:

1 x L-Acoustics LA4 System Amp with DSP
1 x LAB iP 2100 Amplifier
1 x Symetrix 322 2ch-DSP
