The famous "Ampelmann" Restaurant is located in the very heart of Berlin with a direct view on the river Spree. The restaurant features a beautiful terrace area with over 70m length; most guests enjoy sitting outside in the summer and watching the ships pass by.
The Restaurant appointed us to design, install and commission a high-quality sound system for the outdoor area.
The restaurant's high quality standards and unique design required the sound quality also to be superior to a typical restaurant or supermarket system.

We decided to use high-quality weatherproof speakers DI5DCt made by  Tannoy.
For proper equalization, we used a small but powerful DSP, a  Symetrix 322. This device allowed us to set sufficient parametric filters, but also to design an external volume control for the two zones which could be designed and located to the client's desires.

The system is running since August 2008 and supplies uniform coverage for the whole outdoor area and a satisfied client.
